77 percent of applicants to McPherson College were admitted for fall 2018

At McPherson College, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in McPherson enrolled 819 students in fall 2018, including 772 in undergraduate and 47 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

30 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kansas, and 65 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (60 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 77 percent of the 1,222 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 19 percent enrolled.
