Cost of college went up for all students at Central Christian College of Kansas

Tuition and fees rose 18 percent for 2018-19 at Central Christian College of Kansas, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kansas students paid $20,350 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $3,110 more than the $17,240 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 95 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 147 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.2 million and 112 students took out student loans totaling more than $674,723.

Including all undergraduates (726), 659 students used grants or scholarships totaling $7.7 million, and 592 students took out $4.5 million in federal student loans.
