Graduates earn 191 degrees from Central Christian College of Kansas

About 35.6 percent of the 191 degrees and certificates handed out by Central Christian College of Kansas in 2017-18 were to students in homeland security, law enforcement, firefighting and related protective services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in McPherson conferred 68 bachelor's degrees in homeland security, law enforcement, firefighting and related protective services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/law enforcement administration. Data shows the school gave out 68 bachelor's degrees in criminal justice/law enforcement administration, followed by 31 bachelor's degrees in organizational leadership and 15 bachelor's degrees in general psychology.

The college enrolled 726 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
