Graduates earn 122 degrees from McPherson College

About 25.4 percent of the 122 degrees and certificates handed out by McPherson College in 2017-18 were to students in engineering technology and engineering-related fields programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in McPherson conferred 31 bachelor's degrees in engineering technology and engineering-related fields programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in "other" mechanical engineering related technologies/technicians. Data shows the school gave out 31 bachelor's degrees in "other" mechanical engineering related technologies/technicians, followed by 19 bachelor's degrees in general health and physical education/fitness and 13 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management.

The college enrolled 819 students for 2017-18, including 772 in undergraduate programs and 47 in graduate programs.
