The Chamber helped celebrate PrairieStar Health Center's recent opening of the new Pediatrics Clinic with a Ribbon Cutting. The clinic includes an expanded area with exam rooms, a laboratory, a vaccine room, and a procedure room that will be used for both medical procedures and integrated dental care. The investment (funded in part by a $1 million grant from HRSA) also enables PrairieStar to have a space that can withstand nature’s worst in Reno County—a $2.1 million storm shelter that will double as PrairieStar’s emergency medical facility in the event of a tornado.
