Tigers Can't Stop Hot Shooting Rams
The Central Christian College men's basketball team returned to Sooner Athletic Conference action on Thursday night, hosting the Texas Wesleyan University Rams.
The Tigers were very gracious hosts, and the Rams took advantage of the Tigers' hospitality, to shoot them out of the gym, leaving with a 97-75 win.
The Tigers couldn't keep the Rams in front of them on defense, and the Rams didn't miss. At one point in the first half, the Rams were shooting 75% from behind the three point arc. By the end of the half, they had cooled down to 55%, but still led by 20 (58-38) heading into the locker for the halftime intermission.
Out of the break the Tigers were even with the Rams, but couldn't make up any ground. The Rams cooled down considerably, but they had done enough damage in the first half, to be able to coast to a 22 point win.

They were 6 of 26 attempts from deep (23%).
At the free throw line they were 8 of 9 in the first half, but just 3 of 13 in the second, (50% for the game).
The Tigers lost the turnover battle 11 to 8, and were out-rebounded the Rams 44 to 36.
