Bulldogs Fall in Hard-Fought Battle to Kansas Wesleyan

On Saturday (Jan. 14), the McPherson College Bulldogs hosted the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes in a conference matchup. The Bulldogs knew they had to get an early lead on the Coyotes, and they did, outscoring Kansas Wesleyan 32-25. Tytiana Haamid led the half with 10 points, while Matisyn Moses led the team with four rebounds. 

In the second half, the Bulldogs extended their lead to 43-29, but the Coyotes did not back down, storming back to cut it to just a two-point lead. After back-and-forth possessions, Tylieea Wallace scored to give the Coyotes a 64-62 advantage to end the contest. Leading scorers for the bulldogs were Summer Kirkman with 14 points and Moses with 12.
