4.2% of Reno County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Reno County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,286 people out of the 62,071 living in Reno County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Reno County has decreased compared to the 4.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Reno County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 29,474 people who had a job during that time, 38 were employed in the Armed Forces and 29,436 belonged to the civilian labor force.
